Americans are typically too busy for tea.

Our lives are a constant flurry, with no time to pause for a pot of tea. We are more geared toward coffee, and in most cases, do not even get our of our cars when we order it in the morning. If we brew it at home, we take it with us.

The customs and civilities of taking tea are becoming lost. It seems only our "greatest" generation recognizes and practices proper etiquette, while their descendents are much more laisse faire. As part of a large--and growing--group of enthusiasts, the Duchess of Tea would like to let you know what you are missing!

Eating at the table is just as important as knowing how to set a proper placesetting.

The Duchess of Tea can also help you to learn how to:

--set a table for breakfast, luncheon, afternoon tea, buffet, dinner and dessert.

--fold and yes, properly use a napkin.

--how to eat finger food and breads (hint, it's not always with your fingers).

--relax and enjoy situations you once considered 'stuffy' by knowing the basics of polite conversation.
